Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice explains how Fieldwork Coaching (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles your personal data when you visit www.fieldwork-coach.org, join our mailing list, or work with us in any capacity.
We care about protecting your information—and your trust.
1. What We Collect (and Why)
We only collect what’s necessary to do good work together and improve your experience on this site. That includes:
Your name, email, or contact details (when you reach out or join Fieldnotes)
Details related to purchases (via Stripe or LemonSqueezy)
Basic analytics (like page visits or browser type)
Testimonials or comments you voluntarily share
Your marketing preferences if you opt into newsletters or offers
We use this information to communicate with you, provide services, and ensure the site and emails stay relevant and useful.
2. Your Rights
You’re in control of your data. You can ask to:
See what information we hold about you
Correct it if something’s inaccurate

Stop or limit certain uses
Withdraw consent at any time (especially for email marketing)
Just email tom@fieldwork-coach.org if you’d like to make a request.
3. How We Keep It Safe
Your data is stored securely and only accessed by those who need it. We use tools that are compliant with GDPR standards and limit access to essential team members or trusted providers.
That said, no website or data storage method is ever 100% secure. If anything changes that affects your data, we’ll let you know.
4. Cookies (the non-edible kind)
We use cookies to:
Keep the site running smoothly
Understand how people use it
Improve the experience over time
Occasionally tailor content or offers
You can manage cookie settings in your browser at any time. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
5. When We Share (and When We Don’t)
We never sell your data.
We may share it with trusted tools or partners (e.g. payment processors, email platforms, analytics providers) but only to help deliver the services you’ve requested.
We’ll never pass your details to third parties for their own marketing.
6. International Data Use
Some tools we use may store data outside the UK or EU. Where that happens, we ensure they meet GDPR or equivalent data protection standards (e.g. by using approved frameworks or standard contractual clauses).
7. How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep your data only as long as we need it—for things like responding to enquiries, managing your coaching sessions, or meeting legal obligations. After that, we securely delete or anonymise it.
8. Questions or Concerns?
You can contact us at tom@fieldwork-coach.org with any questions or concerns about how your data is used.
If you ever feel your data isn’t being handled correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK.
